This three-day experience is for firm owners and leaders who work closely with teams in the Philippines, and want to step into the place that your team calls home.
It’s a chance to connect with fellow founders and operators, experience the culture behind your team, and spend time together outside the usual work hours.
Across curated dinners, guided sessions, and immersive local experiences, we’ll slow things down and create space for real conversations, shared perspective, and meaningful connection.

The retreat is in November, and we’re still finalizing the exact itinerary. Every activity is being designed to make it easy and natural to connect with each other.
Expect experiences that are fun, relaxed, and rooted in the best of modern Manila - with great food, great conversation, and great company.
Some of the experiences we’re planning to include:
• A warm welcome in the hotel lounge to kick off the retreat
• Guided conversations with other firm owners building teams in the Philippines
• Exceptional shared dinners at some of Manila’s best spots
• A sunset cruise on Manila Bay with dinner and drinks
• A culinary walking experience exploring local flavors
• A gin tasting featuring one of the Philippines’ most famous exports
The goal isn’t to pack the schedule. It’s to create the right setting so conversations and relationships happen naturally.
Sunday, November 8
Arrive in Manila, settle in at the Grand Hyatt, and ease into the experience. This is an informal arrival day - we’ll be around the hotel lounge and coordinating casual meetups for anyone who arrives early.
Monday, November 9
Optional morning wellness activity, followed by breakfast at the hotel.
The retreat officially begins around midday with drinks and introductions before we head to a Filipino buffet dinner on the Bay with traditional performances.
Tuesday, November 10
Optional morning wellness activity, followed by breakfast at the hotel.
A facilitated leadership session focused on leading global teams. After which we will enjoy a guided Filipino cooking class and history/cultural talk. In the evening, we’ll gather for a hosted dinner and shared experience designed to help everyone connect.
and
Wednesday, November 11 and onward
Optional morning wellness activity, breakfast at the hotel, final conversations, pictures and departures around midday.
We’ll encourage you to hold your own team retreat and/or explore the Philippines on your own. We’ll have suggested itineraries for your team retreat to make it easy.
Note: This itinerary may change slightly and is here to give you a feel for what the experience will be like.
This is not a conference.
It’s about relationships, learning from each other, and getting to know the country that your team calls home.
Attendance is limited to maintain an intimate, high-quality experience.
We’ve secured a group rate at the Grand Hyatt Manila.
Approximately $240 per night. Standard rates are typically around $450 per night.
We were only able to reserve 10 rooms at the discounted rate, so we recommend booking early.
After registering, you’ll receive our private hotel booking link.
Guests should plan to book Sunday-Tuesday nights, with the option to extend before or after the retreat.
Once those rooms are gone, you’re welcome to book the Hyatt at the standard rate or stay at another nearby hotel, but I highly recommend the Hyatt. It’s my home away from home and truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had anywhere.
