Website Terms
The short version
- These Terms cover your use of hireteamup.com. If you are a client, your signed service agreement with us sets the terms of our services and takes priority over anything here.
- TeamUp helps accounting and bookkeeping firms hire university-qualified professionals based in the Philippines. We are never the employer of the people we place.
- Candidates never pay TeamUp a fee.
- Our articles, Salary Guide and tools are general information, not legal, tax or employment advice.
- Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer law in your country.
- Questions? Email hello@hireteamup.com.
1. About these Terms
Who we are. hireteamup.com is run by TeamUp LLC ("TeamUp", "we", "us"), a company registered in Wyoming, USA.
Who these Terms apply to. Anyone who visits or uses our website, including accounting firms looking to hire ("clients") and people looking for work ("candidates").
Agreeing to these Terms. By using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you use the website on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for that business. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
Age. You must be 18 or older to use our website or apply for roles through us.
Your signed agreement comes first. If you are a client, we provide our services under a separate service agreement you accept through our proposal process. If that agreement and these Terms ever disagree, the agreement wins.
2. What TeamUp does
We help accounting and bookkeeping firms in the US, Australia, Canada and the UK hire professionals based in the Philippines. We offer two services:
- Recruitment. We find, screen and introduce candidates. You interview them and decide who to hire.
- Success Partner. Recruitment, plus ongoing support after the hire starts. Under this service, the person you hire is employed by our employer of record partner, which handles their employment contract, payroll, benefits and legal compliance.
We are never the employer. Under either service, the person hired works as part of the client's team, under the client's direction. TeamUp does not employ, manage or supervise them.
3. If you are a client
- Fees, guarantees and refunds are set out in your proposal and service agreement, not on this website. Prices, examples or figures on the website are a guide only and are not an offer.
- Hiring decisions are yours. You make the final decision on who to hire, and you are responsible for managing their day-to-day work.
- Candidate information is confidential. When we share candidate details with you, use them only to assess and hire for your role, keep them secure, and don't pass them on to anyone else.
4. If you are a candidate
- We never charge you. TeamUp does not charge candidates any fee, at any stage. If anyone asks you for money in TeamUp's name, contact us.
- Be accurate. The information you give us, including your CV, qualifications and work history, must be true and complete.
- Our process. We may ask you to complete skills tests, interviews and checks, such as reference and police clearance checks. We explain each step before it happens.
- No guarantee of a job. Applying through TeamUp does not guarantee an interview or an offer. Job offers come from the client or the employer of record, not from TeamUp.
- Sharing your details. We share your profile with clients who are hiring for roles that suit you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
5. Using our website
Please don't:
